Refund Policy:

  • Should attendee cancel, a refund will be issued minus a $5 fee to cover credit card processing costs if cancellation is requested at least 7 days prior to the event.

  • No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 7 days of the event.

  • In the unlikely event that the organizer cancels the conference, a full refund will be issued.

POST-CONFERENCE RECORDINGS

A post-conference recording will be available for all attendees on the VTT online CE platform after the event for up to 60 days post the event. You must have an account with Veterinary Team Training.  It's free to sign up and all attendees will be enrolled into the courses after the conference.

Foundations for Team Managers

This is an intensive, online mini-summit designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of what it takes from working on the floor with team members to supervising them. 

​

Who: Veterinary professionals with minimal to moderate experience or confidence in managing team members, managers-in-training, aspiring managers. This includes front desk, kennel, technician, and assistants team members.

​

What: 5.0 hours of RACE CE approved for vet techs & veterinarians. Lecture based with Q&A and chat feature available.

  • RACE CE is ONLY awarded for live sessions.

  • Recordings will NOT be RACE approved.

​This session will delve into how to coach the best out of each team member. Interpersonal issues between members, demotivated employees and gossip will be discussed. Effective solutions to managing under performers will be provided.

How to Remain Friends When You Are the Manager

Sometimes managers have to work with their best friend. Are you still allowed to gossip with them about other employees? What about if they start to under perform? This session will dive into the top things needed to maintain a friendship and be their boss.

How to Train the Team When You’re on the Floor & It’s Busy

RACE 1.0 Hours

The majority of the time managers are expected to also train their team. How can one train the team when it's busy and you're working on the floor and trying to get your management job done? This session provides practical tips/tricks on how to train while working on the floor.
