Veterinary Team Training LLC d/b/a VTT (“VTT”, "Company" or "We") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. VTT provides pay-per-course and subscription services for the use its CE Content which includes documentation, tutorials, training workshops, samples, images, audio or video recordings, and other tools (collectively, “CE Content”) subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the Terms of Service, Cookie Policy and the End-User License Agreement (“EULA”).
We maintain policies that are intended to protect the confidentiality of Personal Information which may be obtained from users of the Company’s CE Content and education services as more fully described in the Company’s Terms of Service, Cookie Policy and subject to its EULA (collectively, the “Services”) including when visiting the website, mobile applications, social media, message boards, blogs and like communication tools. We do not share voluntarily provided, personally identifiable information for any purpose other than its intended use. This policy applies to all VTT® websites (https://www.vetteamtraining.com, education.vetteamtraining.com, www.myVTT.com), related mobile websites, microsites, mobile applications or social media sites (Facebook.com/vetteamtraining and others) (collectively our "Website") and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
VTT and its Website is directed towards adult users, over the age of 18. If you or your child are not over the age of 18 then it is required to cease use of the Website.
The privacy policy described herein addresses any and all communications you have through all areas of the Website. While it is fully within your rights to not share Personal Information, you may not be able to utilize some features of the Website if you choose not to supply Personal Information.
Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. Personal Information
Personal information is information that is capable of being associated with an individual including but not limited to a Social Security number, a driver’s license number, an account number, a credit or debit card number, a passport number, an alien registration number, a state identification card number, health insurance identification number, but does not include publicly available information including information made available from federal, state or local government records (“Personal Information” or “PI”).
VTT will not use or share Personal Information except when permitted or required by federal or state law.
Visitors to our Website may need to register to use our services (such as paying for a subscription or purchasing an education module). If you are purchasing a service or product, or registering for an event, we may request financial information. Any financial information we collect is used only to bill you for the services you purchased. If you purchase by credit card, this information may be forwarded to your credit card provider. For some other types of registrations, or purchases, we will ask for the relevant information (for example RACE requires license numbers to be provided in order to register for CE credits). You may also be asked to disclose personal information to us so that we can provide assistance and information to you, such as if necessary to provide you with online technical support and troubleshooting.
Like many other websites, we may employ third-party services to collect non-personally identifiable information (such as age, gender and interests) like Google Analytics. Our third-party sources provide us with a summary that is statistical in nature and cannot be tracked back to a specific individual. We use this information to gauge the impact of website changes and to make improvements to our website (including website-based advertising). However, we do not facilitate the merging of your personally identifiable information with the non-personally identifiable information we collect.
Once collected, we may use your PI in a variety of ways including, but not limited to:

Sharing Your Personally Identifiable Information to Perform Business Functions: When VTT fulfills service requests initiated by you, we may share your PI with certain third parties to fulfill the requests or share such information with service providers that perform business functions for us. VTT may occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf including, but not limited to, packaging, mailing, and delivering promotional offers, answering customer questions about products or services, sending postal mail, website enhancements, website integrations and processing registrations. In such cases, VTT may share your PI to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Sharing Your Personally Identifiable Information When Legally Necessary or to Protect VTT’s Interests. VTT may disclose your PI if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to: (i) conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process served on VTT; (ii) protect and defend the rights or property of VTT; or (iii) protect the personal safety of VTT personnel or members of the public in appropriate circumstances. In addition, if VTT and/or its assets (or a portion of its assets) are sold, assigned, transferred, or merged, or if VTT undergoes some other change including a change to its corporate form, information may be transferred as part of that transaction or change.
Sharing Your Email Address: Your email address will only be used by VTT and its entities and will not be sold to anyone not affiliated or in business with VTT. As such, VTT will refrain from sharing email addresses to unrelated third parties. VTT may share your email address with third parties: (i) to enable VTT to take security measures to help protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of data, and (ii) to perform certain services on our behalf, such as packaging, mailing, and delivering products and processing event registrations and to respond to your service requests.
While we take reasonable measures to keep PI confidential and to ensure the integrity and security of our network and Website, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur.

Any personal information collected by a third-party website, with the exception of Apple Inc.’s App Store and Google LLC’s Google Play Store (where potential future VTT Mobile Apps may in the future be sold), will not be transmitted to VTT unless required for law enforcement purposes or as otherwise permitted by law. VTT’s privacy and other web policies do not apply to these third-party sites, and we encourage you to read the policies of the third-party site when deciding whether to use it.

The VTT website contains links to websites of other organizations. VTT does not directly endorse any of these websites or organizations. When you follow a link to another site, you leave the VTT website, and your website interactions are no longer protected by this Privacy Policy. VTT is not responsible for, and does not endorse the privacy or security practices, or the content of sites to which the VTT website links, including but not limited to any medical content or information on such sites.

You may have a right under the European Union General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 of 2018 (“GDPR”), as amended, or similar laws of other jurisdictions[1], as applicable, to: (i) withdraw consent; (ii) request your Personally Identifiable Information (defined herein) previously collected by VTT; or (iii) pause any data processing relating to your Personally Identifiable Information in the event you object to it.
