With over 28 years of experience in veterinary medicine, Amy is the proud owner of Veterinary Team Training. She specializes in consulting with hospital leaders and offers an online continuing education platform to help veterinary professionals enhance their skills and knowledge.

After navigating challenges in multiple leadership roles, Amy earned a Master’s Degree in Management & Leadership. She has held many veterinary leadership roles over her career in both private and corporate practices.
She is the award-winning, best-selling author of Oops, I Became a Manager and Oops, My Team is Toxic, both dedicated to building happy and effective veterinary teams.

David Liss, MS, MBA, RVT, VTS (ECC)
David started his career as a veterinary technician in emergency medicine in 2003. During his time as an on-the-floor veterinary technician he oversaw two 24-hour specialty referral practices as Technician Manager and obtained two veterinary technician specialty certifications, in emergency and critical care and internal medicine.
David then became the Program Director of a veterinary technology associate’s degree program in Los Angeles for several years. David returned to management to lead a 24-hour general practice and emergency hybrid hospital and became a certified veterinary practice manager (CVPM) and professional in human resources (PHR). He currently is the Vice President of operations of VEG ER for Pets.
